Role Overview
The Sales Officer / Sales Manager (BFSI / Retail) will be responsible for driving customer acquisition and revenue growth through the sale of unsecured loan products and/or fintech financial solutions. The role focuses on meeting sales targets, expanding the customer base, and delivering an excellent customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Acquire new customers for unsecured loans, personal loans, credit products, or fintech offerings.
- Generate leads through field sales, referrals, digital channels, and partnerships.
- Explain product features, benefits, eligibility, and documentation requirements to customers.
- Achieve assigned sales targets on a monthly and quarterly basis.
- Coordinate with credit, operations, and underwriting teams for smooth loan processing.
- Maintain accurate sales records, customer data, and MIS reports.
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships to ensure repeat business.
- Stay updated on BFSI products, market trends, and competitor offerings.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines during sales activities.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate in any discipline (MBA preferred for Manager role)
- 1–6 years of experience in BFSI, retail sales, or fintech product sales
- Experience in unsecured loans, personal loans, credit cards, or digital lending preferred
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Target-driven mindset with customer-centric approach
Preferred Skills
- Field sales and channel sales experience
- Knowledge of loan documentation and basic credit processes
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-oriented environment
