Role Overview

The Sales Officer / Sales Manager (BFSI / Retail) will be responsible for driving customer acquisition and revenue growth through the sale of unsecured loan products and/or fintech financial solutions. The role focuses on meeting sales targets, expanding the customer base, and delivering an excellent customer experience.


Key Responsibilities

  • Acquire new customers for unsecured loans, personal loans, credit products, or fintech offerings.
  • Generate leads through field sales, referrals, digital channels, and partnerships.
  • Explain product features, benefits, eligibility, and documentation requirements to customers.
  • Achieve assigned sales targets on a monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Coordinate with credit, operations, and underwriting teams for smooth loan processing.
  • Maintain accurate sales records, customer data, and MIS reports.
  • Build and maintain long-term customer relationships to ensure repeat business.
  • Stay updated on BFSI products, market trends, and competitor offerings.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines during sales activities.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate in any discipline (MBA preferred for Manager role)
  • 1–6 years of experience in BFSI, retail sales, or fintech product sales
  • Experience in unsecured loans, personal loans, credit cards, or digital lending preferred
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Target-driven mindset with customer-centric approach

Preferred Skills

  • Field sales and channel sales experience
  • Knowledge of loan documentation and basic credit processes
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-oriented environment
